Kristen Jordan signed her letter of intent with Midway University on Monday, Jan. 22 at a ceremony held in the WCHS library. The goal keeper played in 18 games for the Lady Jackets this season and averaged one goal per game surrendered.

“Kristen is a great example of hard work and determination,” said former WCHS Coach Brad Turpin. “I coached at Midway a while back so this is extra special to me to see her go to a quality program and I am excited to watch her play.”

Jordan gave a short speech at the celebration where she thanked her WCHS coaches and her friends and family.

“I've wanted this moment since my freshman year and I worked as hard as I could to be here,” said Jordan. “This is a moment that will stay with me forever. I am looking forward to meeting my new teammates next season and growing on and off the field.”
