The WCMS Academic Team participated in the Governor’s Cup competition on Saturday, Jan. 20, at Georgetown Middle School.

The Future Problem Solving team won the district. Students on that team were Bryant Craig, Aydin Khosrowshahi, Cody Boesch, and Jordan Patterson. They will advance to Region.

Eight students qualified for Region in individual events: Maia Smith in both Social Studies and Arts & Humanities, Addie Patterson and Cody Boesch in Math, Bryant Craig and James Sikorski in Science, Reida Harrod and Ina Mason in Language Arts, and Julia Hill in Written Composition.

Regional Competition will be hosted by WCMS on Saturday, Feb. 3.
