Edwards seeks re-election as circuit clerk

Christie Wood Edwards has announced her candidacy for re-election to the office of the circuit clerk of Woodford County. Edwards began her service as circuit clerk in 2013 and worked as a deputy clerk from 1994-2012.

“It has been an honor to serve the residents of Woodford County as your circuit clerk. I am committed to performing the responsibilities of the circuit clerk’s office with professionalism and efficiency. My dedicated staff and I will continue with the respect, compassion and cooperation needed to ensure success in all tasks that are handled through this office.”

Edwards and her husband Paul have been married for over 30 years. They have two children, Alex and Grace. She is a member of First Christian Church. She has also been an active member in the community over the years with various organizations.

“It has been a pleasure and would be a privilege to continue to serve the people of Woodford County.”
