Elwanda Estes Montgomery, 78, died on Wednesday, Jan, 24, 2018.

Born on Sept. 10, 1939, in Clark County, she was the daughter of the late Lonnie and Dorothy Walling Estes. She was retired from the state and was a member of Versailles Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She is survived by three children, Denise (Kyle) Perkins, Louisville; Anthony (Carrie) Montgomery, Versailles; and Amanda (Glen) Grissom, LaGrange; seven grandchildren, Clint, James, Jordan, Dayton, Grace, Kristofer, and Thomas; two great-grandchildren, Marley and Brody; and four siblings, Julian Estes, Wayne Estes, Ollie Estes, and Tracy Estes.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Glen Davis Estes.

A memorial visitation will be held today Thursday, Feb. 1, from 2 until 4 p.m. at Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill.
