Cathy Nadine Brumback, 65, wife of David E. Brumback, died Thursday, Feb. 1, 2018.

Born on Feb. 28, 1952, in Versailles, she was the daughter of the late Alice Duncan Yount and Charles W. Shumate. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church and worked as an administrative assistant for the Woodford Co. Board of Education.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters Lisa Smith and Rená Cooper, both of Versailles; a stepson, David A. Brumback, Versailles; a sister, Sue (Tom) Mcknight, Florida; a brother, Charles Shumate, Tennessee; six grandchildren, Nicole Lewis; Bryana Smith; Michael Shepard; Elizabeth Shepard; Christopher Graham and Joseph Brumback; and a great-granddaughter, Kylee Rená Walton.

Services were held Monday, Feb. 5, at Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill with Dr. Thomas McKnight officiating. Burial followed at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Serving as casket bearers were Michael Shepard, Christopher Graham, Kendall Smith, David A. Brumback, Bryana Smith, and Nicole Lewis.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Woodford County Humane Society.
