Lancaster runs for clerk


Judy Lancaster has announced her candidacy for Woodford County Clerk.

Her career spans over 34 years in finance which includes banking, commercial real estate management, and service with the state’s housing finance agency. Her experience includes project manager, real estate financing, construction, and real estate sales. She has served as vice president at a financial institution as well as Board secretary and corporate secretary. Beginning her career at a Versailles financial institution and continuing in finance and real estate, she has been able to work within the community and assist people with their financial needs and goals.

She and her husband, Douglas “Brandy” Lancaster, have spent all of their lives in Woodford County and raised two daughters, Jennifer and Elizabeth.

Judy states, “I believe the Woodford County Clerk’s office can be professional while meeting the needs of all Woodford Countians in a friendly and positive manner. Technology and other resources are available so this office can be comparable to other state clerk offices and be the best in the state. I love our county and I am excited about the opportunity to serve the people.”
