Garkovich announces to run for magistrate
Mike Garkovich announces candidacy for magistrate in the 8th District.
My wife and I have lived in Versailles since 1998 and Nonesuch since 2000. I am a veteran and a graduate of St. Louis University with a degree in accounting.
While not a lifelong resident, my commitment to Woodford County is strong. This is where I have chosen to live. I love the friendly and caring people, the beauty of the natural environment, and the diversity of local businesses.
I believe in the future of Woodford County as a place distinctive for its heritage, economic opportunities, and diversity of choices in where to live and what to do. I believe we are moving forward because we are working together for the future we want.
As a Magistrate, I promise to have an open mind and seek information from all available sources. I will endeavor to make decisions based on priorities such as urgency, safety and impact on District 8 and all of Woodford County. Finally, I promise to be accountable to the dreams for the future of my district and Woodford County.
I would appreciate your vote May 22.
