Scholarship to be awarded

Blue Grass Community Action Partnership will offer a one-time $750 Scholarship to an individual in each of the following Counties: Woodford, Anderson, Boyle, Franklin, Garrard, Jessamine, Lincoln, Mercer ,and Scott. Recipients will be selected based on need, academic record and the merit of the application. The scholarship may be used to help cover expenses associated with attending college or a technical school of the recipient’s choice. Applications for the Scholarship may be obtained from a guidance counselor at each area high school or by calling Jessica Aldridge at Blue Grass Community Action Partnership, Community Services at 502-695-4290, ext. 224.

Non-traditional students will also be considered. The deadline for submitting an application is April 16, 2018.

This project is funded, in part, under a contract with the Cabinet for Health and Family Services with funds from the Community Services Block Grant Act of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
