Helen Felton Wimer, 94, of Versailles, died on Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2018, at Daisy Hill Senior Living in Versailles.

Born on March 17, 1923, in Canaan, West Virginia, she was a member of Rockland United Methodist Church in Belpre, Ohio. Survivors include two daughters, Linda (Mike) Felton Roscoe, Versailles and Bonnie Sue (Jim) Felton McGlumphy, West Virginia; eight grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. In addition to her husbands, Hoy K. Felton and Edward J. Wimer, she was preceded in death by her parents, Roy Virgil and Eva Snyder Davis; her son, James ‘’Rick” Felton; eight siblings, Loran Davis, Londes Davis, Thomas Davis, Bernice Sorbello, Marie Glady, Florabelle Delaney, Pauline Hartsell and Zula Davis (infant).

A celebration of her life was held at Daisy Hill Senior Living on Thursday, Feb. 22.

Graveside services were held on Saturday, Feb. 24, in the Bridgeport Cemetery in Bridgeport, West Virginia.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to The American Heart Association, Hospice of the Bluegrass or Daisy Hill Senior Living.
