Amended ordinance would allow B&B as accessory use Hearing on residential lots
The Versailles-Midway-Woodford County Planning and Zoning Commission will conduct a public hearing on Thursday, March 8, on a proposed amendment to an ordinance, which will allow bed and breakfasts/inns to operate as an accessory use in the agriculture (A-1) zoning district.
The amended ordinance would allow B&Bs with three rooms or less, on a minimum of five acres, with no events, as an accessory use. The Agricultural Advisory Review Committee would review all requests under the proposed ordinance text amendment.
Thursday’s meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. in the second-floor courtroom of the Woodford County Courthouse.
The commission is scheduled to conduct a public hearing on an amended subdivision plan for 1230 Troy Pike (formerly known as Edmonds Cross), which proposes 148 residential lots on 55 acres.
A major in-family conveyance creating three new lots at 1798, 1806 and 1790 Woodlake Road for the children of Lynn and Lola Cash is also on the Planning Commission’s agenda.
A minor amended subdivision plat for a residential lot at 6022 Harkness Lane in the Rose Ridge subdivision will also be presented to the commission.
A minor consolidation subdivision plat for 690 and 755 Fintville Road (Eller estate and James Tracy Eller property), CO-1 (conservation) district is also scheduled to come before the commission.
