Greathouse runs for magistrate
Joseph Greathouse has announced his candidacy for the Woodford County District I Magistrate seat.
A proven leader, fourth-generation farmer, and lifetime resident of Midway, Greathouse is a 1993 graduate from Woodford County High where he was class president and captain of the football team.
With his wealth of knowledge about the community, Greathouse will represent the people of Midway and protect their best interests. He has served in several leadership positions, including the Woodford Agricultural Extension Board, Woodford County Ag Development Board, and is the current first vice president of the Woodford County Fair Association where he is the chair of the annual livestock shows. In addition to his roots in agriculture, he is the husband to an elementary school teacher and is passionate about the success of our students and their futures.
“I have built my life and raised my family in the community of Midway,” said Greathouse. “l understand the opportunities and am confident I would serve as an effective voice, communicator, and conduit for change for my hometown and the agriculture community. In November, I would be honored to have your vote and support.”
