Campbell


Tommy Campbell Sr., 73, died Wednesday, April 4, 2018, at Baptist Health in Lexington.

Born on Jan. 26, 1945, in Versailles, he was the son of the late Andrew and Virginia Matthews Campbell. He was a graduate of Versailles High School. He owned and operated TC Shack and was a member of First Baptist Church, Versailles.

Survivors include seven children, Regina Campbell, Versailles; Kimberly Campbell, Lexington; Misty Blackshear, California; Mia Graves, Georgia; Tamara O’Neal, Georgia; Tommy “Little TC” Campbell Jr., Lexington; and Timothy Taylor, Lexington; two sisters, Lena Richards, Versailles and Carolyn Morton, Lexington; two brothers, James “Jimmy” Campbell, Versailles; and William Campbell, Lexington; and seven grandchildren, Ariel Campbell, Jazlyn Campbell, Angelique Kumi, Kevin Graves, Tyron Blackshear, Justice Blackshear, and Elijah O’Neal. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Louise Campbell White and Lizzie Mae Buckner; and a brother, Harold Campbell.

Services will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. Friday, April 13, at First Baptist Church by Rev. Dr. Floyd Greene. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today,Thursday, April 12, also at First Baptist Church, Versailles. Arrangements have been entrusted to Blackburn and Ward Funeral Home.
