Ben G. Taylor, 93, husband of Valeria E. Taylor, died Friday, April 13, 2018.

Born on Oct. 30, 1924, in Lawrenceburg, he was the son of the late Anna Rose Woods Taylor and Ben G. Taylor Sr. He was a veteran of the United States Navy, having served in World War II. He retired from North American Phillips as an engineer and was also an Eagle Scout. He was a member of Southland Christian Church, Journey Church and Bluegrass Christian Men’s Fellowship.

In addition to his wife of 67 years, he is survived by four children, R.J. Taylor, North Carolina; Barb Lincoln, Georgia; Ken (Diana) Taylor, Indiana; and Larry (Regina) Taylor, Versailles; two sisters-in-law, Gertrude Peach and Sybil Smith, both of Lawrenceburg; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Services were held Tuesday, April 17, at Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill, by the Rev. Randy Nation. Burial followed in Blue Grass Memorial Gardens. Serving as casket bearers were Casey Taylor, Jay Million, Rick Haven, John Fischer, David Iglehart, John Dale, Chris Grambrell and Greg Williams. Honorary casket bearers were the Seasoned Warriors Class at Journey Church.
