Ollie Maye Cosby Stapp, 91, wife of Harold James Stapp, died Thursday, April 19, 2018.

Born on May 11, 1926, in Woodford County, she was the daughter of the late Oliver Winkfield and Della May Farthing Cosby. She was a farmer and a member of Faith Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Donna Gayle Stapp, Versailles; three sons, Douglas Stapp, Lancaster; David Stapp and Mike Stapp, both of Versailles; three sisters, Trinnie Courtney and Mary Cosby, both of Versailles; and Florence Ethington, Lebanon; four grandchildren, Adam Stapp, Sherri Case, Heather Dixon and Kristen Arnold; and eight great-grandchildren.

Services were held Tuesday, April 24, at Faith Baptist Church, Versailles, by the Rev. Bobby Lakes and Rev. Joe Collins. Casket bearers were Scottie Foster, Brent Courtney, Kevin Cosby, Andy Dickson, Kendall Cosby and Adam Stapp. Honorary casket bearers were Butch Crowe and Aaron Pennington. Burial followed at Sunset Memorial Gardens
