Rex Tyler Robinson, 45, husband of Shannon Rae Robinson, died Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at his home in Lawrenceburg.

Born on March 11, 1973, in Bourbon County, he was the son of the late Franklin Robinson and the late Aletta Quisenberry Crockett. He was a graduate of Woodford County High School and received his bachelor’s degree from Columbia Southern University. He was a safety manager for Thompson Industrial Services.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children, Darian, Caleb, and Jay Robinson, all of Lawrenceburg; two brothers, Frank (Marilyn) Robinson, Amarillo, Texas; Eric (Deena) Robinson, Paris; a stepsister, Cherri Crockett, Wichita, Kansas; two stepbrothers, David (Charlene) Crockett, Lawrenceburg, and Kevin Crockett, Versailles. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, David Crockett.

Services were conducted Tuesday, May 1, at Blackburn and Ward Funeral Home, by Bro. Dave Menser. Pallbearers were Rob Brandenburg, Frank Robinson, Eric Robinson, Matt Cole, Michael Graham, Larry Elkins Jr., Shawn Knight and Keith Pike. Honorary pallbearers were Ryan Pike, Michael C. Graham and Connor Pike. Entombment followed at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
