Police Reports

Versailles police responded to one accident involving injuries, 11 non-injury accidents and issued four citations.

On April 28 at 8:13 a.m., a Honda CRV driven by Sarah E. Flanigan, 25, of Lexington, pulled in front of a Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by Donna Groves, 64, of Frankfort, at the intersection of U.S. 60 and Frankfort Road. Both drivers were taken to area hospitals. Police say failure to yield, inattention and misjudging clearance on the part of Flanigan caused the crash.

On April 29, parts from a Chevrolet Tahoe worth $200 were reported stolen on Normandy Circle.

On May 3, a wallet, purse and other items worth a total of $800 were reported stolen from a vehicle on Maiden Lane.

On May 2, a citation was issued on Clifton Road for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

On May 4, a citation was issued on Ridgewood Drive for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

On May 3, a citation was issued on North Main Street for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

On May 1, a vehicle was reported leaving the scene of an accident that caused $700 worth of damage to a BMW 850.

On May 1, possession of marijuana was reported on Woodson Drive.

On April 30, identity theft was reported on Chestnut Lane.

On May 2, police issued a citation on the U.S. 60 Bypass for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

On May 1, they responded to a vehicle accident on North Main Street and a small fire on Marcella Street.

On May 6, they responded to a malfunctioning fire alarm on Princess Circle and a vehicle accident on the U.S. 60 Bypass at Frankfort Street.
