Update on File Photo

In the May 3 issue, the Sun ran a picture of a business getting ready for a grand opening. We received information from several sources. Betty Fannin and Beth Whittinghill (whose father was Billy Wilson) both contacted the Sun office and identified the picture as the opening of Wilson’s Drugstore (the site of the old Kroger store, next to the Presbyterian church). In the picture, from left, Ernest Clay, Billy Wilson, Jean Stevens, Tissie Williams and Frank Hawkins.
