Popp to run again

I am proud to announce that I will be seeking reelection for Magistrate in District 1. It has been an honor to serve the citizens of Midway. I have diligently fought to keep the Woodford County Emergency Management Services in Midway, and I have been working with the Kentucky Transportation Department on the Weisenberger Bridge Project. Currently, I am serving on the Woodford County Fiscal Court’s Road, Finance, and Lease Committees.

I am the daughter of the late Doris and Albert Shryock, a 1973 graduate of Woodford County High School and a former licensed insurance agent. I am the recent widow of Ray Popp, a lifelong farmer and resident of Midway. We have two children, Ginger Hill and Matthew Popp, and four grandchildren. I also have had the honor of serving as Chairwoman of the Midway Fall Festival, and fundraising for the Midway School, Relay for Life, the NEST, Cowboy Up For A Cure and Addiction Interrupted. I am looking forward to continuing to be your representative for District 1 for another four years. Together we can make Woodford County a better place for our residents and children. Please feel free to contact me at 859-753-7184.
