Art In The Park Artist Spotlight
Bruce Wilham is the creator of Junk to Enjoy. He creates things out of metal, mainly junk metal. He uses forks, knives, spoons, chains, pots, nails, just about anything metal for which he sees a vision!
Bruce is a self-taught welder, welding all his life for his trade. He has collected metal just as long. Having never been able to throw anything away, because you never know when you may need it, his wife told him he had to do something with all the stuff everywhere. So he decided to put the “junk” to good use. He can visualize most of his items before he starts making them and other times it may start out as one thing and end up being something totally different. He creates animals, people, cars ... the list is endless.
Bruce lives in Jamestown, Kentucky and travels the area to different shows. This is his third year creating items and he loves what he does. This is an enjoyable hobby!
Vist Bruce’s Junk to Enjoy at the 10th Annual Art in the Park Friday, May 25, from 6 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, May 26, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the lawn of the Woodford Inn.
