Centre College

Logan Pauley has been awarded a prestigious Herbert Scoville Jr. Peace Fellowship. He will spend six to nine months working with the Stimson Center, a nonprofit, nonpartisan think tank that aims to enhance international peace and security. Pauley is one of only three spring 2018 Scoville Fellows chosen from among 160 applicants who graduated from 104 U.S. universities.

Western Kentucky University

The following students from Versailles were named to the spring 2018 President’s List at Western Kentucky University: Emily G. Lawrence, Molly C. Dawson, Caitlin N. Sullivan, Brandon F. Varble, Jacob A. Hollin, Sadie E. Downs, Sarah E. Cotney, Grayson K. Fuller, Hannah R. Freeman, Ashley E. Peterson and Luke T. Manning.

The following students from Versailles were named to the spring 2018 Dean’s List at Western Kentucky University: Madeline J. Springate, Matthew G. Lawson, Brandon S. Bradley, Caleb E. Chapman, Andrew D. Iglehart, Delaney K. Taylor, Adelaide M. Martin.

Grayson Fuller of Versailles will conduct research at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine’s Biochemistry Department with Dr. Jessica Blackburn.

Cedarville University

The following students from Midway were name to the spring 2018 Dean’s List at Cedarville University: Joshua Wilson and Amanda Elkin.

Samford University

William R. Southhall of Versailles was named to the spring 2018 Dean’s List at Samford University.

Lindsey Wilson College

Mia Cornette of Versailles earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education.

National Merit Scholarship

Spencer M. Kriss of Versailles has been awarded a National Merit Scholarship for Washington and Lee University. He is a graduate of Lexington Catholic High School.
