Midway Alumni Association
The Midway Alumni Association held its annual banquet Saturday evening. There were 67 people in attendance. Pauline Curry Britton was the guest of honor, being recognized for being the oldest living graduate from the class of 1940. Doris Leigh was honored for being the most faithful Alumnus as she has never missed any of the banquets since the beginning of its organization. Donald Wright, Margie Mitchell Atwood and Shirley Wilson Shuck are the continued committee members. Plans are in the making for the next banquet, hopefully on June 1. We would like to recognize the following merchants for their continued support each year which enables us to have nice door prizes for the alumni and guests. They are as follows: Midway Merchants: Weisenberger Mill, Brown Barrel, Railroad Drug, Breckinridge, Midway Boutique, Wild Bills, Railroad Street Framing, Impact Graphics, Historic Midway Museum Store, Damselfly, Midway Sweet Tooth, Fisher Antiques, The Back Room, The Milam House, Wine and Wood and United Bank, Midway; Versailles Merchants: Ricardo’s, The Flower Basket, The Woodford Sun and Ear Key Hearing Clinic.
