Jennie L. Hansel, 64, widow of Jack Hansel and Bobby Wilson, died Sunday, July 15, 2018.

Born on Oct. 17, 1953, in Lexington, she was the daughter of the late Robert George and Mary “Rosie” Douglas Cole.

Survivors include four children, Eva (Dennis) Allen, Lexington; George (Wilma) Wilson, Harrodsburg; Bobby (Robert) March, Illinois; and

Jackie Hansel, Versailles; four sisters, Wilma (Gene) Hall, Richmond; Wanda (Bubby) Courtney, Georgetown; Kathy (Johnny) Covington, Jeffersonville; and Lisa Nelson, Harrodsburg; six brothers, Tommy (Gloria) Cole, Georgetown; Franklin Cole, Lexington; Sherman (Marie) Cole, Versailles; Leroy (Tina) Cole, Lexington; Willard (Christy) Cole, Lexington; and Ricky Cole, Lexington; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and late husbands, Jack Hansel and Bobby Wilson, she was preceded in death by five siblings, Mary Bruner, Eva Cummins, William Cole, Ailene Cole and Weeks Lynn Cole.

Services were held Wednesday, July 18, at Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill Ave., Versailles, by Randall Gregory. Entombment followed at Sunset Memorial Gardens with grandsons serving as pallbearers.
