Bradley running for school board in 5th district
I’m excited to announce my candidacy for the Woodford County Board of Education in the 5th district. As a longtime Woodford County resident and mother of four children, I feel that my experiences working with our schools over the past 12 years as a parent, representative, volunteer and community member make me a great fit to serve on the school board.
I was elected to serve a two-year term as a parent representative on Southside Elementary’s Site-Based Decision-Making Council, during which I focused on improving student achievement. I co-founded and chaired the I Support Our Schools committee that was publicly acknowledged with Outstanding Volunteer Recognition by the current school board.
I’ve spent countless hours volunteering both in our schools and as a Parent-Teacher Organization member. I have coordinated a Relay for Life team and cared for local families as a deacon at Pisgah Presbyterian Church.
For the past eight months, I have attended school board meetings and learned what it takes to be a board member. I look forward to exchanging ideas about our schools’ challenges and celebrating their amazing accomplishments! I would be honored to serve Woodford County, a wonderful place to live and raise a family.
