• What Are You Reading? Book Group, 12 p.m., Midway branch. (Adults) Share and discuss current reads. No assigned books.

Tuesday, Aug. 28

• English Classes/ Clases de inglés, 9:30 a.m., 11 a.m., and 5:30 p.m., main library. (Adults/adultos) Learn English grammar and vocabulary, practice speaking, and more. Aprendemos gramática, vocabulario, y conversación en inglés, y mucho más.

• Toddler Tales, 10 a.m., main library. (Ages 2 to 3) Enjoy songs, rhymes, stories and great activities.

• Preschool Stories, 11 a.m., main library. (Ages 4 to 5) Books and more to enhance pre-literacy skills and to have fun.

• Preschool Story Hour, 11 a.m., Midway Branch. (Ages 5 and younger) Children (with a favorite adult) have fun with engaging books, songs, and activities as they build their early literacy skills.

• Art Attack, 3 p.m., Midway branch. (Grades K-4) Draw, trim, glue, paint, and create. Join us for a creative art project, a snack and a story.

• Tuesday Evening Book Club, 6:30 p.m., Versailles Brewing Company. (Adults) Discuss “Beneath a Marble Sky” by John Shors. Wednesday, Aug. 29

• Friday Coffee Club, 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., main library. (Adults) Meet every other week for interesting personalities and discuss intriguing topics. This week’s speaker is author Janet Steele Holloway.
