Sun Q & A begins Sept. 20

The Woodford Sun’s question-and-answer series for political candidates returns Sept. 20.

Space and time considerations prevent us from asking candidates for every office to take part; instead, we will feature what we believe are the offices most important to Woodford County residents.

Here’s the schedule:

Sept. 20: School Board

Sept. 27: Midway City Council

Oct. 4: Versailles City Council

Oct. 11: Woodford Fiscal Court

Oct. 18: State Representative (56th District)

Oct. 25: U.S. Representative (6th District)

Nov. 1: Midway and Versailles Mayors

Candidates who didn’t take part in the May Primary Q & A series are encouraged to contact us at john@woodfordsun.com to provide contact information and a photo. They’ll be sent questions at least five days before the answers are due. Further details are to follow.
