Nance announces candidacy for Midway city council

To the citizens of Woodford County, I am proud to announce my candidacy for Midway City Council. I am a Kentucky native and United States Army veteran, having served my country honorably in Afghanistan. After returning from Afghanistan, I finished college at the University of Kentucky, and my wife Samantha and I decided to start our family in Midway, a town we had both fallen in love with.

I, like many others, find myself very disenfranchised by politicians in our country who spew vitriol at one another and divide our nation and communities. After having our first daughter, Olivia, I soon realized that I couldn’t sit by any longer - that it was up to me and other like-minded individuals to step up and lead and show future generations what true servant leadership looks like.

I am committed to insuring that the Midway we know and love is protected. I want to insure that we progress responsibly and continue to be an open and inviting community for families, tourists and small business owners alike. If you would like to follow along with the campaign, you can do so by searching for Logan Nance for Midway City Council on Facebook.
