Nichols –Mattingly

Mr. and Mrs. Troy Nichols of Georgetown announce the engagement of their daughter, Britney Nichols, to Alex Mattingly of Lebanon, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Mattingly of Lebanon, and the grandson of Mrs. Thomas Ray Mattingly and the late Thomas Ray Mattingly of Lebanon, and Mr. and Mrs. Darnell Waters of Springfield.

The bride-elect attended Woodford County High School and is a graduate of Airport High School, West Columbia, South Carolina and the University of Kentucky with a Bachelors of Education, Ed. S. in Education Leadership and a Master’s Degree in Education in Teacher Leadership from the University of the Cumberlands. She is employed by the Fayette County Board of Education.

The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Marion County High School and the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture. He is self-employed.

The wedding will take place at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, 2018, at The Grand Reserve, Manchester St., Lexington. Reception will follow at the same venue.
