Sister Margery H. Rickling, 90, of the Sisters of St. Joseph the Worker, died on Monday, Sept. 17, 2018, at Taylor Manor Nursing Home, Versailles.
Born on June 10, 1928, in Cincinnati, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Albert J. and Elizabeth Lillmes Rickling. Sister Margery professed her vows on March 25, 1953. She was the last surviving member of the original 18 founders of the Sisters of St. Joseph the Worker.
She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three siblings, Marian Oche, Don Rickling and Richard Rickling.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, at All Saints Catholic Church, Walton, by Fr. Matthew Cushing. Visitation will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. today, Thursday, Sept. 27, at Taylor Manor Nursing Home, Versailles, and from 9 to 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 29, at All Saints Catholic Church, Walton. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Versailles.
