Jimmy Brannon seeks Circuit Judge post
Jimmy Brannon has announced his candidacy for Circuit Court Judge.
“I sincerely believe that my education, experience and demeanor demonstrate the qualities that will allow me to serve effectively as your Circuit Judge if elected in November,” Brannon said.
Over 32 years, Brannon has successfully tried many serious cases in the circuit courts, including three murder trial acquittals, along with successful handling of hundreds of family law, wills/probate cases, social security disability cases, bankruptcy cases, most matters that come before District and Circuit Courts and served as master commissioner for several years,
“I sincerely submit that no other candidate presents as broad experience in different areas of the law, or specific experience actually trying serious cases in the circuit courts,” Brannon said.
In addition, Brannon served for eight years on the Paris City Commission, was a single parent raising a daughter, Sarah, who is in her third year of college and a son, who deceased in 2007 at age 13.
Brannon is married to Denise Massey Brannon and is a lifelong native of Bourbon County, where they reside with special canine friends, Sadie, Bud and Midway, the Pug.
