Judge Mattox running for 14th Judicial Circuit

Judge Jeremy Mattox grew up in Berry, Ky., in northern Harrison County. He is a graduate of Harrison County High School. After graduation, Judge Mattox enrolled in Georgetown College and received his Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Political Science. He immediately proceeded on to law school at the University of Kentucky, where he received his law degree.

He began his law practice in Paris working in the office of Harry E. Budden Jr. In 2011, Judge Mattox moved his practice to Georgetown where he provided a diverse array of legal services for his clients.

Since taking the bench in 2017, Judge Mattox has been committed to the efficient and fair administration of justice in his court. Judge Mattox works hard to treat all individuals in his courtroom with dignity and respect.

He has been married to his wife Melissa since 2014 and on Aug. 1, they welcomed their son Jeremy “Bennett” Mattox, into this world. Judge Mattox is raising his own family in Scott County and is committed to making the 14th Judicial Circuit a safer place for all families.
