Kelli Kearney running for District Judge

I am Kelli Duffy Kearney, and I am running to be your next District Judge. I am currently an Assistant County Attorney at the Scott County Attorney’s office working closely with law enforcement and citizens to handle the prosecution of misdemeanors, felonies up to the preliminary hearing stage, juveniles and traffic cases in District Court. Before serving in Scott County, I was an Assistant Attorney General at the Office of the Kentucky Attorney General where I served as a Criminal Prosecutor in their Medicaid Fraud Division. My experience as a prosecutor at the state and local level, combined with my service as a crime victim’s advocate prior to law school, has prepared me to serve your community as the District Judge you deserve. I will be fair by applying the law correctly and without bias. The courtroom belongs to the community and I will treat everyone entering with respect and will expect the same in return.

I have been married to my husband, Adam, for 16 years and we have two children, Jake (10) and Kendall (8). I am dedicated to my family and community. Please vote Kelli Kearney Nov. 6; www.kellikearney.com.
