Versailles police responded to one vehicle accident involving injuries, seven non-injury accidents, one domestic-related complaint and issued four citations/summonses.
On Sept. 19 at 5:02 p.m., there was a collision on South Main Street involving four vehicles. Robert L. Bailey, 32, of Nicholasville, was driving a Volkswagen Jetta and rear-ended a Oldsmobile Alero driven by Tyler G. Brumley, 20, of 3670 Fords Mill Road, which rear-ended a Ford Mustang driven by Christopher Weiler, 62, of 109 Locust Road Lane, which rear-ended an Acura TSX driven by David Whitworth, 53, of Lawrenceburg. A passenger in Whitworth’s vehicle, Norma G. Whitworth, of the same address, was taken to Bluegrass Community Hospital. Police say inattention on the part of Bailey was a factor in the crash.
On Sept. 26, $20 in cash and a driver’s license was reported stolen from a vehicle on Rose Bay Road.
On Sept. 26, Rayban sunglasses and other items worth a total of $1,605.99 were reported stolen from a vehicle on Rose Ridge Road.
On Sept. 30, police issued two citations/summonses in the Kroger parking lot for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
On Sept. 30, third-degree terroristic threatening was reported at a home on Troy Pike.
On Sept. 24, a vehicle was reported leaving the scene of an accident on South Main Street that damaged a utility pole.
On Sept. 26, a lawnmower was reported vandalized on Douglas Avenue, with damage estimated at $50.
On Sept. 25, failure to report an accident involving landscape lights at Sycamore Estates was reported on Huntertown Road.
On Sept. 29, an ATV and trailer worth a total of $700 were reported stolen from a farm on Troy Pike.
On Sept. 28, fraudulent use of a credit card involving the theft of $1,200 was reported at a home on North Winter Street in Midway.
On Sept. 24, a vehicle was reported vandalized at a home on McCracken Pike.
On Sept. 18, police issued a citation/summons on Lexington Road for possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and second-degree possession of a controlled substance.
On Sept. 12, a drive-off involving $20.14 was reported at the Marathon on Lexington Street.
On Sept. 13, flagrant non-support was reported at a home on High Street.
On Sept. 21, two forged checks were reported at Citizens Commerce Bank.
On Sept. 26, a Honda van was reported vandalized on Arbor Meadow Way, with damage estimated at $200.
On Sept. 27, a torque wrench worth $30 and hydrocodone were reported stolen from a vehicle on East Stephens Street in Midway.

On Sept. 27, they responded to a malfunctioning alarm on Court Street and a water-related problem on Seth Drive.
On Sept. 28, they responded to a vehicle accident on the U.S. 60 Bypass.
On Sept. 29, they responded to a smoke odor on Merewood Drive, a smoke smell at the main branch of the Woodford County Library, and an alarm at Huntertown Elementary.
On Sept. 30, they responded to a stalled elevator at Margaret Hall and an unauthorized burn on Huntertown Road.
