Sarah Hays for District Judge

Having a combination of the right experience and a commitment to service, Sarah Hays is the best candidate for District Judge. Sarah has both litigation and judicial experience. Sarah practices law in Lexington, where she primarily handles domestic and criminal defense matters. Sarah worked at the Kentucky Court of Appeals for eight years, where she assisted judges tasked with reviewing District and Circuit Judges’ decisions on a daily basis. That experience solidified her long-time desire to be a judge herself.

Sarah believes that a judge’s primary responsibility in serving the community is to protect the safety and rights of everyone within it. Sarah is committed to showing respect for all litigants, victims, defendants, law enforcement and attorneys and promises to bring a balanced judicial temperament to the District Courtroom in Woodford, Bourbon and Scott counties.

Growing up in Versailles, Sarah returned after law school to raise her two daughters, Carter and Kate. Sarah is active in the community and volunteers with soccer organizations and the school system. Sarah promises to serve Woodford, Scott and Bourbon counties with integrity, dedication and respect if elected in November. #votehays
