Versailles native’s commitment to national service

Adira Jarman from Versailles, a graduate of Ohio Weslyan University, recently dedicated herself to a year of national service as an AmeriCorps member with City Year New Hampshire, where she will serve elementary school students who struggle with attendance, behavior, and course performance in math and literacy. She chose to commit to a year of national saying, “I serve because every child deserves the opportunity to achieve their full potential.”

This year, Adira serves on the Parker-Varney Elementary School Team in Manchester, New Hampshire, where she will make a difference in the lives of her students by providing in-class support and after-school programs throughout the school year.
