Annette Walton, 65, wife of Ronnie Walton, died Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2018 at her home in Versailles. Born on Jan. 4, 1953, in Oldham County, she was the daughter of the late James Hubert and Ruby Annette Adams Lathery. She worked as a manager for Dollar General and was a member of Lighthouse Apostolic Church, Versailles.
In addition to her husband, Ronnie Walton, Versailles, she is survived by eight children, Mark (Christy) Pettyjohn, Missy Pettyjohn, all of Versailles; Rhonda (Robbie Hensley) Pettyjohn, Louisville; Charles Hansel, Versailles; Sandy Moss, Burgin; Donnie (Rita) Walton, Lexington; Joyce (Tony) Scott, Versailles; and Kevin (Elizabeth) Walton, Lawrenceburg; three siblings, James (Donna) Lathery Jr.; Linda (John) Hansel; Cathie (Wayne) Rodgers, all of Versailles, fifteen grandchildren, Kelcey (Bryan) Mollett, Casandra Pettyjohn, Kristin (Jacob) Harris, James Pettyjohn, Zack Pettyjohn, Johnathan Russell, “Little Donnie” Walton, Shawn Walton, Justin Roberts, Jeff (Angela) Roberts, Carla (Boo) Washington, April Scott, Heather Bradley, Jordan (Haley) Walton and Jarod Moss; and fifteen great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, James and Ruby Lathery, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Bobby Lathery and Donnie Lathery; a daughter, Patty Roberts; and a great-grandchild.
Graveside services were conducted Monday, Nov. 5, at Rose Crest Cemetery followed by a celebration of life at Lighthouse Apostolic Church, 206 Russell Ave., Versailles. Pallbearers were Anthony Rodgers, Kevin Walton, Charles Hansel, Robbie Hensley, James Pettyjohn and Zack Pettyjohn. Honorary pallbearers were Cathie Rodgers, Brenden Freeland, Bryan Mollett and David Adkins.
