Holiday hours and closings

The following businesses and government offices announce closings or special hours in observance of the New Year holiday.

The Woodford Sun will will close at noon Monday, Dec. 31 and be closed Tuesday, Jan. 1. We will reopen at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 2.

The Versailles Municipal Building, Midway City Hall and Woodford County Courthouse and Annex will be closed Dec. 31 and Jan. 1.

There will be no garbage pick up by Rumpke or Central Ky. Hauling on New Year’s Day. Services will be delayed one day during the rest of the week.

On New Year’s Eve, the Falling Springs Arts offices will be closed and the center will close at 5 p.m. On New Year’s Day, the offices and center will be closed.

The Versailles Post Office will be closed Jan. 1.

The Woodford County Library’s Versailles and Midway branches will be closed on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.

The Woodford County Health Department will be closed on Dec. 31, and Jan. 1.

All local banks and Greater Kentucky Credit Union will be closed Jan. 1.
