CrossPointe Church seeks permit for future sanctuary site
A conditional-use permit that will allow CrossPointe Church to construct a sanctuary building at 124 Dry Ridge Road is scheduled to come before the Board of Adjustment Monday, Jan. 7.
The sanctuary will be built at a later date on 7.14 acres near the Blue Grass Parkway’s eastbound ramp, according to an application for the permit. A 40-foot-by-100-foot pavilion will be built on the site as the initial phase of the project. CrossPointe Church, currently located at 130 Depot Street in Versailles, purchased the Dry Ridge Road property from St. Andrew’s Anglican Church in January 2017.
A request for several variances that will allow James and Laura Stouffer to use a barn at 1470 Clifton Road for weddings, receptions and other special events is also scheduled to come before the Board of Adjustment.
Its Jan. 7 meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. in the second-floor courtroom of the Woodford County Courthouse.
