Lexington weekly fuel update
Gasoline prices in Lexington have risen 6.8 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $2.17/g, according to GasBuddy’s daily survey of 275 stations in Lexington. This compares with the national average that has increased 0.6 cents per gallon versus last week to $2.24/g, according to GasBuddy.
Average gasoline prices on Jan. 21 in Lexington have ranged widely over the last five years: $2.40/g in 2018, $2.11/g in 2017, $1.66/g in 2016, $2.08/g in 2015 and $3.16/g in 2014.
Including the change locally during the past week, prices were 22.3 cents per gallon lower than a year ago and are 2.0 cents per gallon lower than a month ago. The national average has dropped 10.4 cents per gallon during the last month and stands 29.1 cents per gallon lower than a year ago.

Cincinnati - $1.94/g, down 13.1 cents per gallon from last week’s $2.07/g.
