Buckland

Charlotte Young Buckland, 90, widow of John Buckland, died Thursday, Feb. 14, 2019.

She was born on March 6, 1928 to the late Walter and Pauline Crawford Young. She was a homemaker, a member of Woodford Memorial Hospital Auxiliary and Journey Church.

She is survived by a daughter, Robin (Jerry) Johnson, Versailles; a daughter-in-law, Joy Buckland, Kansas; a sister, Phyllis Morefield, Virginia; two brothers, Kenneth Young and Walter Young, both of Florida; and three grandchildren, Haley Johnson, Aaron Johnson and Austin Johnson. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, John K. Buckland.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22, at Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing in Nicholasville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
