Arthur Truman Craig, 89, widower of Anna Elizabeth Hill Craig, died Friday, Feb. 22, 2019, at St. Joseph East Hospital.
Born on March 21, 1929, in Midway, he was the son the late Jessie Robert and Snoda Keith Craig. He had been a salesman and was a member of Central Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Joyce (A.G.) Campbell and Donna (Jim) Wheeler; two sons, Arthur (Iraline) Craig Jr. and Rodney (Karen) Craig; 13 grandchildren, Neil (Alison) Craig, Nathan (Hope) Craig, Rachael (John) McClain, Chris (Tammy) Campbell, Patrick (Kaitlin) Campbell, Ryan (Catherine) Campbell, Elizabeth (Brian) Glover, Dennis (Rebecca) Craig, Adam (Catlin) Craig, Jessica (Zeke) Goodwin, Beth Wheeler, Jamie (Brandon) Bailey and Amanda Wheeler; 21 great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Sam Craig and Spencer Craig. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Sue Craig.
Services will be held at 12:30 p.m. today, Thursday, Feb. 28, at Central Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Midway Cemetery. Pallbearers will be his grandsons. Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until time of service on Thursday at Central Baptist Church.
