Jimmy Phelps 38, died Wednesday, March 6, 2019, at his home.

Born on Nov. 14, 1980, in Fayette County, he was the son of James and Beth Ballard Phelps, of Versailles. He was a graduate of Anderson County High School in Lawrenceburg and a team leader at Yokohama Industries in Versailles.

In addition to his mother and father, he is survived by a brother, Josh (Rachel) Phelps; a nephew, Holden Phelps; maternal grandmother, Betty Ballard; two aunts, Linda (Calvin) Brookins and Patricia (Vic Smith) Jones; and three uncles, Sonny Ballard; Rob (Sherry) Taylor and Tinker Taylor. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Bland Ballard.

Memorial services were held Sunday, March 10, at Blackburn & Ward Funeral Home by the Rev. Bryan Roberts.
