Hilda Morrison Lawson, 94, died Sunday, March 17, 2019. Born on Dec. 28, 1924, in Mortonsville, she was the daughter of the late Joe and Frances Lancaster Flora. She was a member of Mortonsville Assembly of God Church. Survivors include seven daughters, Shirley (Ronnie) Lawson, Vickie Morrison, Doronda (Tom) Walters, Tammy Morrison, Marlene Nichols, Alta Renfro and Carol Morrison; four sons, Roger (Francis) Morrison, Frankie (Peggy) Morrison, Buzz (Nellie) Morrison and Neil Morrison; 26 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by a son, Charles (Diane) Morrison; two sisters, Evelyn Shaffer and Pearl Tina Sanders; a half-sister, Elizabeth Weber; three stepsisters, Rosa Mae Hall, Stella Lee Cooper and Frances Hall; two brothers, Tommy Flora and Joe Mason Flora; and three half-brothers, Walter Flora, Ansel Flora and Cecil Flora. Services will be held at 1 p.m. today, Thursday, March 21, at Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill, Versailles, by the Rev. Edward Nichols. Burial will follow at Versailles Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 20, at the funeral home.
