Burden, Livingston win Michael Jackson ‘Be the Boss’ award

Gabe Burden and Braylen Livingston are the 2019 recipients of the Michael Jackson “Be the Boss” wrestling award. Burden won the award for the middle school division, and Livingston received the award for the youth division. Each year the “Be the boss” award is presented to a qualified youth and middle school wrestler, in addition to the existing Michael Jackson Woodford County High School wrestling scholarship. Those receiving the award will exhibit Michael's outstanding athletic qualities, which included relentless determination, unceasing work ethic, team spirit, exemplary sportsmanship, and respect for coaches, teammates, referees and opponents.
