Chaney


Jerry Chaney, 78, of Shelbyville, died Tuesday, April 30, 2019. Born on June 9, 1940, in Versailles, he was the son of the late Paul and Daphne (Flora) Chaney. Survivors include three children, Allyson (Roy) Chaney, Jerry (Tina) M. Chaney II, and Joseph (Tammy) Jeffery Chaney; three siblings, Kenny Mangione, Theresa (Cleo) Waford and Gus Mangione; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan E. Chaney; stepfather, Frank X. Mangione; and grandmother, Mattie Jane Flora-Eaves. A memorial service will be held to celebrate his life at a later date.
