Robert Owen Horsley Jr., 53, husband of Tammy Jo Wienzierl Horsley, died Sunday, May 26, 2019, at Bluegrass Community Hospital. He was born on Jan. 4, 1966 in Rockford, Illinois. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children, Michaela Jo (James) Rogers, Lawrenceburg; Madilynn Dawn Horsley (Sean Dunn), and Addison Robert Horsley, both of Versailles; parents, Charlotte Marie and Luther Harper, Apple River, Illinois; two grandchildren, James Owen and Noah Nathaniel Rogers; a brother, Luther “JR” (Cynthia) Harper, Apple River, Illinois; two sisters, Tammy Marie (Jim) Blue, Machesney Park, Illinois, and Mary Catherine Chandler, Rockford, Illinois; parent-in-laws, Vicki and Bob VanSchaik; sibling in-laws, Kim Dunaway (Tom Davis), Tiffany (Eddy) Kindred, Bobby VanSchaik, and Lisa Paget; an aunt, Linda (Louie) Barker; several nieces, nephews, cousins and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Dawn Lynn Harper; his biological father, Robert Owen Horsley Sr.; and his grandparents Services will be held at 3 p.m. today, Thursday May 30, at Blackburn and Ward Funeral Home by the Rev. Diana Leombruni, from New Life Assembly of God in Loves Park, Illinois. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until time of service.
