Midway Alumni Association

The Midway Alumni Association held its annual banquet Saturday, June 1 at the Midway Baptist Church. The banquet is for all graduates of Midway High School. Students who attended school there are added at anytime. The committe members are Don Wright, Margie Mitchell Atwood and Shirley Wilson Shuck. Plans for next year’s banquet scheduled for May 30, 2020 are under way. There were 56 people in attendance. The guest of honor was Eveyln Chappell Green. She was the oldest in attendance from the Class of 1944. We would like to thank all of the merchants from Midway and Versailles for their donations. They are as follows: Midway Merchants: Weisenberger Mill, Brown Barrel, Railroad Drug, May & Company, Railroad Street Framing, Historic Midway Museum Store, Home Place Beauty Salon, Damselfly, Midway Sweet Tooth, Fisher Antiques, Kennydid, Goose and Gander, Mezzo, Heirloom, Hosey‘s Kentucky Honey, The Milam House and Holly Hill; Versailles Merchants: Ricardo’s, The Flower Basket, The Woodford Sun, Ear Key Hearing Clinic, Market Place on Main, Tiffany’s Pet Spa, Jessie’s Attic and Bluegrass Traditions.
