July 4 closings

The following businesses and government offices announce closings or special hours surrounding the Thursday, July 4, Independence Day holiday. The Woodford Sun offices will be closed July 4. The deadline for all advertising and news items for the July 3 issue is noon Friday, June 28. The Versailles and Midway city governments will be closed Thursday. Rumpke Sanitation will operate on its regular schedule. Central Kentucky Hauling will not have pickup on holiday and will run residential trash and recycling collection routes one day behind. The Woodford County Courthouse and Annex will be closed Thursday. The Woodford County Public Library’s main and Midway branches will be closed Thursday, and the Woodford County Health Department will be closed. The Woodford County Recycling Center will be be closed Thursday. The Versailles Post Office will be closed all day on July 4, and there will be no mail delivery. All local banks will be closed, as will the Greater Kentucky Credit Union. Falling Springs office and center will be closed July 4; the outdoor pool will be open.
