Danny Lee Lay, 60, died Friday, July 5, 2019. Born on Oct. 19, 1958, in Woodford County, he was the son of the late Ray and Nannie Gibson Lay. He owned and ran a farm in Woodford County and was a member of Versailles Church of God. He is survived by a sister, Joan Scott, Florida; a brother, Carl Ray Lay, Versailles; two nephews and one niece; two great-nephews and one great-niece; and one great-great-nephew. Services were held Tuesday, July 9, at Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill, by the Rev. Frank Layne. Casket bearers were Richard Lay, Kevin Waits, Rome Dunston, Charles Lay, Loren Lancaster, Kenneth Young and Chris Grider.
