J.T. Wright, 66, husband of Pinkie Wright, died Saturday, Sept. 14, 2019. Born on Sept. 10, 1953, in Midway, he was the son of the late Omer Richard and Mary Ellen Pennington Wright. He was a mechanic at Quad Graphics. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Allison Gillespie, Lawrenceburg; a son, Chris (Becca) Wright, Lawrenceburg; a sister, Barbara (Charles) Miracle, Lexington; a brother, Paul (Taffie) Wright, Versailles; five grandchildren, Autumn, Austin and Dustin Williams; Landry and Avery Wright; three nephews, Richie (Lorra) Miracle, Bradley and Blake Wright; and a sister-in-law, Edna Tilghman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Wright. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5 until 8 p.m. today, Thursday, Sept. 19, at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Road. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Kidney Foundation.
