Janice Louise Mann Buckler, 76, Versailles, died Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2019, at her home on Brushy Run Road. Born on Jan. 24, 1943, in Versailles, she was the daughter of the late A. J. and Fern Newland Mann. She was the owner and operator of Buckler’s General Store, Troy, Kentucky; a 20-year U.S. postal worker; had worked in the Burgin Public School System; McAlpins and was a licensed cosmetologist. She attended Midway College and assisted people in gaining their GED. She attended Macedonia Baptist Church. She was the beloved mother to one son, John (Lorna Atwater) Thomas Buckler. Additional survivors include a brother, Arthur (Lisa) Mann; three sisters, Missy Mann, Judy (Pat) McIntyre and Hallie Brunson; two grandchildren, Brandon Pyles and Benjamin Pyles; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, James Richard Mann. Services were held Monday, Sept. 23, at Macedonia Baptist Church by the Rev. Reginald Davis. Betts & West Funeral Home was honored to serve Janice and her family.
